Sweet little board August 8, 2009 Nora L. Leverson (Minnesota) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm 42 years old. I skated into my teens and still prefer it over rollerblading or roller skating. I developed the fine art of landing on my feet if my wheels hit an obstacle - at a higher ratio than my actual falls - and I prefer that option to going head over heels to the ground with the wheels still attached to my feet. I wanted a board that had the ease and speed of a longboard, but wasn't more board than I could handle the 28 inch length is perfect for handling, and the 7.5 width fits my feet. I took it for a cruise up and down some old trails a week ago and I'm IN LOVE.
great for the price April 5, 2009 R. Anderson This skateboard is a great board for the price, and is awesome for cruising, and bombing hills. That said, it is rather small and takes some getting used to. Also while it can carve decently, it takes about a week and a half to break in the bushings. A great board if your looking for a board to cruise, but if you are a hasrdcore skater, pay as little more and get a sector 9.

Housewife skateboarder August 17, 2008 RetroMetro 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I am a 43 year old housewife that road skateboards as a kid. I collect long boards and have them displayed on my wall. I have had an overwhelming want to buy a complete skateboard and try to ride it. After hours of searching on line I found this board. Not only was it a good price but it was made by a good company. I have several long boards on my wall from Surf One and they are beautiful. I, also, loved the retro look of this board. I did not want a new style board...I am an old school girl. I got the board and loved it the moment I took it out of the box. I have ridden it a few times and taking it slow since I dont move like I used to and I am getting the hang of it again. I am sure I am the only housewife on my street riding a skateboard but what the heck.....you only live once. I am doing my best not to end up in the emergency room from falling wrong....but I think it would make for good conversation if I do end up there. (btw...I am wearing a helmet and elbow pads)
awesome board December 31, 2007 Aaron M. Rose (Tokyo, Japan) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This board is awesome and i do have to agree with the other reviews this board is ready to roll right out of the box. The wheels are soft giving it a smooth ride and the because of the bearings you dont really have to push. The only problem that I came across wasn't with the board, but that it couldn't be shipped to APO. Over all this is a seriously awesome board for cruzin' around.
